In The Avengers: Age of Ultron, the sequel to the 2012 action film The Avengers, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must defeat Ultron (James Spader), an artificial intelligence, who is set on destroying humankind. Like the first film, Age of Ultron is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and centers on the espionage organization, S.H.I.E.L.D.
Sanath Nagaraj ’16 praises the film, stating, “The director and creators of the storyline have done such a good job at envisioning a series of events and making them play out through a series of movies. The suspense they have created is almost unparalleled and they have left fans with cliffhangers to think about in movies like Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I am eager to see this movie and where it will steer this Marvel universe.” The Avengers: Age of Ultron is in theaters May 1. Watch the trailer here.
